KS1 Teacher | Waltham Forest | MPS/UPS | January 2027 Talent Pool

Reeson Education is inviting candidates to join its KS1 Teacher talent pool in Waltham Forest for potential January 2027 KS1 class teaching roles in Walthamstow, Leyton, Chingford and surrounding schools. As a KS1 Teacher, you will develop early reading, writing and number fluency in inclusive Year 1 or Year 2 classrooms. This is registration for suitable current or future opportunities, rather than a guarantee of a confirmed placement.

Role Details

* Location: Waltham Forest, London

* Pay: MPS/UPS

* Start: Potential January 2027 starts, subject to school vacancies

* Setting: Primary schools, Years 1 and 2

* Contract: Register for potential January 2027 teaching roles

Early Primary Teaching

* A KS1 Teacher will plan sequenced phonics, literacy, mathematics and wider-curriculum lessons

* The KS1 Teacher will assess emerging understanding and address misconceptions through targeted teaching

* As a KS1 Teacher, you will differentiate tasks for different starting points and SEND pupils

* An effective KS1 Teacher can work closely with Teaching Assistants to maintain positive routines and engagement

* Communicate progress with families and colleagues and follow safeguarding expectations.

What We're Looking For in a KS1 Teacher

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ESSENTIAL for this KS1 Teacher role.

* Experience teaching or training in KS1, with strong phonics and early assessment knowledge.

* Confident classroom management, differentiation and collaborative planning.

* Professional communication and safeguarding awareness.
