KS2 Teacher | Waltham Forest | MPS/UPS | January 2027 Talent Pool

As a KS2 Teacher, you will use effective planning and assessment to build knowledge and confidence in older primary pupils. Role Details

* Location: Waltham Forest, London

* Pay: MPS/UPS

* Start: Potential January 2027 starts, subject to school vacancies

* Setting: Primary schools, Years 3 to 6

* Contract: Register for potential January 2027 teaching roles

Upper Primary Planning and Assessment

* A KS2 Teacher will prepare engaging English, mathematics and foundation-subject teaching sequences

* The KS2 Teacher will use formative assessment and feedback to inform subsequent lessons

* As a KS2 Teacher, you will differentiate lessons and support pupils with SEND or emerging English

* An effective KS2 Teacher can encourage independence through clear routines and purposeful classroom discussion

* Contribute to year-group planning and support SATs preparation where Year 6 responsibilities arise.

What We're Looking For in a KS2 Teacher

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is ESSENTIAL for this KS2 Teacher role.

* Primary teaching experience in Years 3-6 or relevant training.

* Secure KS2 curriculum knowledge and effective assessment practices.

* Adaptability, positive behaviour management and safeguarding awareness.
