Job Description:

Lead Groundworker

Matchtech is seeking an experienced Ganger to lead a small civils team delivering essential drainage and wastewater network works across the South of England.

You'll oversee day-to-day site operations, carrying out excavations, manhole repairs and installations while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is a hands-on role involving team supervision, site coordination, risk assessments, and management of plant, materials, and equipment.

Requirements:

• Groundworks, utilities, or civils experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and safe site practices
• Experience using plant, tools, and machinery
• Full UK Driving Licence
• NRSWA (Streetworks)
• Cat & Genny
