THE OPPORTUNITY

We're looking for an experienced Lift Repair Engineer to cover Luton and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established lift engineering operation offering competitive earning potential, a structured local patch and an attractive benefits package.

You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs and keeping lifts operating safely and reliably across commercial, residential and public-sector sites.

This is a hands-on engineering role involving electrical and mechanical fault finding, component replacements and breakdown repairs.

You'll manage your own workload across a local patch, with support from an experienced local supervisor whenever required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carrying out lift repairs and fault finding
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical lift faults
• Replacing, repairing and upgrading lift components
• Attending breakdowns and supporting call-outs
• Working independently across a structured local patch
• Ensuring lifts are returned to service safely and efficiently
• Completing repair reports, site paperwork and maintenance documentation
• Maintaining high standards of safety and customer service

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Lift Service or Repair Engineer
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience diagnosing breakdowns and carrying out lift repairs
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage your workload

WORKING HOURS

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:45pm

Friday: 8:00am - 3:45pm
