Machine Operative - Manufacturing/Packaging

Marden, Kent

Monday to Friday 7am-5pm with an hour for lunch

£34,281 per annum

A growing and innovative manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Machine Operative to join its production team. If you’re hands-on, mechanically minded and enjoy keeping machinery running smoothly, this could be a great next step.

The Role

• Set up and operate machinery
• Monitor line performance and production output
• Carry out routine maintenance and machine adjustments
• Troubleshoot issues and minimise downtime
• Complete quality checks and production records

About You

We’re looking for someone with recent hands-on experience operating semi-automated machinery, ideally within manufacturing or production.

You’ll be:

• Mechanically minded with good problem-solving skills
• Confident working independently and to SOPs
• Safety and quality focused
• A good communicator and team player
• Keen to learn and develop
• Lean/Continuous Improvement experience is desirable
