Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group have the pleasure of working with a FMCG client in the Scunthorpe area who are looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit team.

Maintenance Engineer (electrical or mechanical bias)

Scunthorpe | £48,000- £55,000 depending on experience | 4 days, 4 nights

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Engineer:

• Reacting to breakdowns on industry specific equipment

• Follow the PPM schedule to prevent downtime on the machinery

• Adhere to the health and safety policies at all times

• Liaise with production in relation to timescales of the breakdowns

• Forward-thinking of continuous improvement on the machinery to prevent future breakdowns
• Projects as and when required

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering, HNC would be ideal

• Experience of being a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment previously

• Fault finding skill-set

• Experience with PLC's desired, not essential 
• If you have team leading experience this would put you at the top of the salary banding

This role is commutable from: Brigg, Hull, Scunthorpe, Gainsborough, Doncaster, Grimsby, Goole, Lincoln, Barton-upon-humber
