Teacher of Maths & Science - Hastings Area

Start Date: After Half Term
Contract: Long-Term, until at least Christmas 2026, with the potential to continue until July 2027
Pay: MPS/UPS (Paid to Scale)
Location: Hastings Area, East Sussex

Supply Desk are working with a secondary academy in the Hastings area to recruit a talented Maths and Science Teacher for a long-term position starting after half term.

The Role

• Teach Maths and/or Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that support student progress
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work collaboratively with a supportive department and wider school team
• Contribute to the school's commitment to raising attainment and aspirations

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Maths, Science or both subjects
• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcomed to apply
• Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
• Is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential
