Job Description:

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent

Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 - Depending on experience

Mechanical Design Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer of automated equipment based in the Sittingbourne, Kent area.

The succesful candidate will be joining a well-respected company and will be responsible for utilising Solidworks to create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings. It is anticipated that the succesful candidate will have experience in designing automated equipment and engineering components.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Proficient with the use of Solidworks
• Based in a commutable distance of Sittingbourne
• Able to communicate appropriately with suppliers and customers
• IT literate with the use of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £30,000 - £60,000
• Permanent position. Monday to Friday, 39 hour working week.
• 31 days holiday per year, workplace pension and a sickness scheme.
