Are you a Mechanical Engineer looking to take ownership of product improvement projects and drive quality, reliability, and continuous improvement within a leading technology manufacturer?

We are recruiting for a Maintenance of Line (MOL) Mechanical Engineer to join a global engineering business in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. This role will focus on product improvements, obsolescence management, quality initiatives, and technical problem-solving across an established product portfolio.

Ideal candidates for the Maintenance of Line (MOL) Mechanical Engineer job in St Ives, Cambridgeshire will have experience with:

• Mechanical product design and development
• Product improvement and continuous improvement activities
• Obsolescence management and supplier changes
• CAD systems such as Creo and Windchill
• FMEA, testing, validation, and problem-solving techniques
• Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Plastic mouldings, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes

The successful Maintenance of Line (MOL) Mechanical Engineer in St Ives, Cambridgeshire will ideally possess:

• A Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or similar
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience supporting products through their lifecycle
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, hands-on approach to engineering challenges
