Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £46,300 per annum
Shift Pattern: Panama Shifts – Days & Nights
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, leading manufacturing business in Doncaster

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs across production machinery.

• Fault find and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, including servo and proportional controls.

• Diagnose and resolve machinery faults quickly to minimise production downtime.

• Support continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and performance.

• Work closely with production teams, engineering supervisors and external contractors.

• Assist with machinery installations, modifications and improvements.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete effective shift handovers.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.

• Experience working with hydraulic systems, motors, drives and industrial machinery.

• Understanding of PLC-controlled equipment and fault diagnosis.

• Engineering qualification, ideally NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC or equivalent experience.
