• £12.71 per hour (Days)
• £13.71 per hour (Nights)

We are currently recruiting Manufacturing Operatives to join a successful and well-established manufacturing business in Hull.

This is a non-food production role, working within a modern manufacturing environment where you will be involved in the production, inspection, assembly, and packaging of manufactured products.

Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you will play an important role in maintaining production standards, product quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating manufacturing machinery and associated production equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitoring production processes to ensure products meet quality standards
• Carrying out visual inspections and quality checks on finished products
• Assembling, preparing, and packaging products for dispatch
• Reporting faults, defects, or production issues to supervisors
• Completing production records and documentation accurately
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards throughout the work area
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and production targets
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and team leaders
• Assisting with machine setups, changeovers, and routine equipment checks where required
• Handling materials and products safely in line with company procedures

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a rotating three-week shift pattern:

• Week 1: Early Shift, 6:00am - 2:15pm
• Week 2: Late Shift, 2:00pm - 10:15pm
• Week 3: Night Shift, 10:00pm - 6:15am

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing, production, factory, assembly, machine operating, or warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to work
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes
• Ability to work rotating shifts on a full-time basis
• Understanding of health and safety practices within a manufacturing environment is desirable
