£30,000 - £45,000 depending on experience

Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing organisation that is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving operational efficiency, leading teams and implementing improvements that make a real difference.

Working closely with senior management, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring operations run smoothly, customer expectations are exceeded and the business continues to grow.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the daily operational performance of the business, ensuring processes are efficient, teams are supported and high standards are maintained across warehouse and business operations.

You'll play a key role in improving workflows, managing stock and warehouse activities, supporting business systems and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency across all departments.
• Lead, motivate and develop a successful operational team.
• Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
• Manage stock control processes, inventory accuracy and regular audits.
• Oversee warehouse and distribution activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate operational administration, reporting and record keeping.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, policies and operational standards.
• Promote excellent communication and customer service throughout the business.
• Support the effective use of ERP systems and internal business databases.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity and overall operational performance.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in an Operations Manager or similar leadership position.
• A background within warehouse, logistics or distribution operations.
• Strong people management and team leadership skills.
• The ability to identify operational issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience producing operational reports and maintaining accurate documentation.
• Good IT skills, including experience using ERP systems and business software.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
