About the role Our Client is a growing [business / accountancy practice] looking for a Part-Qualified Accountant to join its finance team. You will play a key role in month-end reporting while we support you to finish your ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification.
What you will do
- Prepare month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Help produce management accounts and variance analysis
- Maintain the fixed asset register and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare VAT returns and support year-end audits
- Work with budget holders to explain costs and forecasts
- Help improve finance processes and controls
What you need
- Studying towards ACCA, CIMA or ACA, with good exam progress
- 2+ years in a finance or accounting role
- Experience with month-end and balance sheet reconciliations
- Strong Excel skills (including lookups and pivot tables)
- Accurate, organised and good with deadlines
Nice to have
- Experience with Sage, Xero, NetSuite or SAP
- Management accounts experience
- Experience supporting an external audit
