Salary: £12.91 - £13.77 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Rochester

About the Role
Our Client is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Parts Advisor to join their busy site. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced candidates and trainees who are looking to start or grow their career within the automotive parts sector.
Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, you will support the smooth running of the parts department by ensuring the efficient ordering, storage, and distribution of vehicle parts to the workshop.
Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining workshop stock, including booking goods into the system
• Identifying and cross-referencing vehicle parts accurately
• Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers and the internal stock team
• Carrying out regular physical and system stock checks
• Processing administrative tasks such as emails, phone enquiries, and reports
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
• Supporting the workshop to ensure parts are supplied efficiently and on time
• Assisting with general duties as required

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a parts or stock-related role is desirable but not essential
• Trainee applicants with a keen interest in the automotive industry are encouraged to apply
• Automotive knowledge (advantageous but not required)
• Confident using computer systems, including Excel
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
