Job description

• Polish newly painted panels to remove dirt inclusions and ensure the finish matches the original factory standard.
• Identify and remove scratches, carrying out minor paintwork corrections to achieve a high-quality finish.
• Complete all company documentation accurately and ensure all procedures and quality standards are consistently followed.
• Plan and manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines and maintain an efficient workshop environment.
• Provide guidance, support and training to new team members when required.
• Work independently, taking responsibility for the quality and standard of all work carried out.
• Support and share technical knowledge with junior technicians to help develop their skills and expertise.

• Previous experience in a similar polishing or automotive paint correction role is essential.
• A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
• A genuine passion for the motor industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional workmanship.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to achieve consistently high-quality finishes in line with customer expectations.
• The ability to work independently, use initiative and make sound decisions when required.
• A positive, team-focused attitude, with a willingness to support, mentor and assist junior technicians.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
