You will be confident stepping into different classrooms, quickly establishing positive relationships with pupils and maintaining the school’s high expectations around behaviour, progress and wellbeing. The role will involve delivering engaging lessons, following existing planning and adapting activities where needed to meet the needs of all learners.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
• Ability to quickly build relationships with pupils and staff
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

The role will involve:

• Providing high-quality teaching cover across the school
• Delivering planned lessons and supporting pupil progress
• Managing classroom routines and behaviour effectively
• Creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences
• Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
