Our client are a leading supplier of aluminium and magnesium castings for the aerospace and defence industries. They are looking for a hard working, reliable, detail oriented people to join their Foundry team..

With vacancies in the Core and Moulding making teams you will learn how to:

• Mix foundry grade sand and binding solutions
• Fill pattern boxes with foundry sand.
• Quality check moulds
• Assemble moulds and cores ready for the metal pour
• Use hand and air tools to remove any rough surfaces from moulds.

You will need:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to safely and accurately use hand and air tools
• A degree of physical fitness as the roles involve periods of standing and manual handling

Hours of work

Monday-Thursday 7.30-4.30 and Friday 7.30-1.30.  38 hours a week
