Production Operative

Chilled Food | Permanent, Full-time | Kent

£13.01 per hour, plus a £1 per hour attendance bonus (up to £14.01 per hour)

40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 3:30pm

Join a production team making chilled food products in a high-care environment. You will help prepare ingredients, assemble and pack products to specification, and maintain high standards of food safety, quality and cleanliness.

What you will do:

• Prepare ingredients and check they are stored, rotated and labelled correctly.
• Assemble products in the correct order, following work instructions.
• Pack and label finished products accurately to customer specifications.
• Check product quality and report damaged or unsuitable ingredients.
• Follow hygiene, safety, allergen-control and PPE procedures.
• Keep production areas clean, complete production paperwork and report equipment faults.
• Support quality checks and technical swabbing when required and under guidance.

What you will bring:

• A reliable, careful approach and the ability to follow instructions consistently.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safe, hygienic working.
• Food production or food-hygiene experience is helpful, but not essential; training will be provided.

Pay and benefits:

• Basic rate: £13.01 per hour.
• Additional £1 per hour attendance bonus, subject to the applicable attendance criteria.
• 25 days annual holiday and a regular weekday working pattern.
• Permanent role with training provided.

The attendance bonus is additional to the basic hourly rate.
