Production Operatives

Normanton, WF6 - Immediate starts

£13.21 per hour, weekly pay and accrued holiday pay

12 hour day shifts, 7am to 7pm (with production running 7 days a week)

Main duties will be packing fruit on a production line : 

1. Sorting Fruit
   • Inspect fruit for quality, size, and ripeness.
   • Remove damaged or spoiled pieces.
   • Grade fruit according to company or customer standards.
2. Packing
   • Place sorted fruit into trays, cartons, or crates.
   • Ensure fruit is packed securely to prevent bruising or damage.
   • Follow specific packaging instructions (e.g., label orientation, quantity per box).
3. Maintaining Cleanliness
   • Keep the work area clean and organized.
   • Follow hygiene standards, especially if the fruit is for fresh consumption.
4. Meeting Production Targets
   • Work at a consistent pace to meet daily quotas.
   • Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
5. Following Health & Safety Guidelines
   • Wear protective clothing (e.g., gloves, hairnets).
   • Report hazards or accidents immediately.
