PSV Technician – Skegness

Location: Skegness
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 38–40 hours per week
Shifts: Rotating earlies and lates, working 5 days out of 7

Questech Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician to join a busy engineering team in Skegness. You will carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to keep the bus fleet safe, reliable and ready for service.

The Role

• Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.

• Complete vehicle inspections and rectify defects.

• Prepare vehicles for MOT testing.

• Work on engines, transmissions, braking, steering and suspension systems.

• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately.

• Follow workshop health and safety procedures.

• Work closely with the engineering team to minimise vehicle downtime.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience as a PSV Technician, Bus Mechanic, HGV Technician or similar.

• A relevant qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair, ideally Level 3 or equivalent.

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

• A good understanding of vehicle inspection and roadworthiness standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work rotating early and late shifts, including weekends.
