Purchase Ledger Controller
£30,000 to £38,000 DOE | East Kent | Hybrid | Free Parking

We are partnering with this fantastic organisation to source an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join a busy Finance function, overseeing the full accounts payable process in a high-volume environment.

Key skills & experience:

• Evidence of strong experience in a supervisory Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role
  
• Strong experience managing invoice processing, coding, approvals and payment runs
  
• Confident handling supplier reconciliations, queries and discrepancy resolution
  
• Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics desirable
  
• Good understanding of accounting principles, VAT/tax and financial controls
  
• Experience supporting month-end close, reconciliations and audit
  
• Ability to manage cash-flow/payment forecasting and meet tight deadlines
  
• A proactive approach to process improvement and automation
  
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to work across teams and influence stakeholders
  

This is a hands-on role offering the opportunity to take ownership of the purchase ledger function and drive improvements across AP processes.
