Senior Engineer / QA Engineer – Caithness

Location: Caithness, Scotland

Peace Recruitment are looking to speak with an experienced Senior Engineer / QA Engineer for a long-term civil engineering project in Caithness.

The project is moving into a stage where the QA, handover and close-out workload is increasing, so we are looking for someone from a strong civils background who can take ownership of the quality side of the works.

The role will involve:

• Managing and closing out ITPs and inspection records
• Compiling handover packs and QA documentation
• Reviewing and maintaining as-built information
• Managing test results, check sheets and quality records
• Working closely with engineers, site management and subcontractors
• Ensuring works comply with drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Supporting the close-out of civils packages across the project

We are particularly interested in speaking with experienced Senior Engineers, QA Engineers or Civil Inspectors who have worked across areas such as:

Energy, substations, power, wind farms, major infrastructure, earthworks, drainage, ducting, concrete and utilities.

This would suit someone who has spent several years on the engineering side but is looking for a role less focused on day-to-day setting out and more on QA, technical delivery, and handover.

Accommodation is provided and the working pattern includes every second weekend.
