Quality Inspector (PM shift)

Job description

Elevation Recruitment Group is working exclusively with Lincoln & York, the largest private label coffee roaster in the UK. Family owned since 1994, they roast and pack around 10,500 tonnes of coffee a year from more than 40 origins, and their coffee ends up in some of the best known names on the high street.

Lincoln & York have invested heavily in their site and are growing. We are now looking for Quality Inspector to join them on the PM shift.

What you will be doing

• Carry out quality checks on coffee products and packaging to ensure they meet required standards.
• Inspect products for defects, inconsistencies and packaging errors.
• Complete quality control checks and accurately record results.
• Work closely with production teams to maintain quality, food safety and hygiene standards.

Shift pattern: Monday to Thursday 2pm – Midnight

Reporting to: Assistant Technical Manager

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a Quality Inspector or Quality Control role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and quality issues.
• Good record-keeping skills and the ability to follow quality procedures and food safety standards.
• Experience within food manufacturing
