Job description
Our Industrial solutions client is seeking a quality & sustainability engineer. This a new and fantastic opportunity!
The ideal candidate will have a background in quality and must have some sustainability knowledge / experience.
The quality & sustainability engineer is responsible for managing and improving the company’s quality & sustainability performance across manufacturing.
The suitable candidate will have a quality engineering, quality assurance, Environmental or sustainability background.
You will also need experience of managing or supporting ISO9001 or ISO4001.
The ideal candidate will be able to carry out the following:
- Manage and maintain the company’s QMS
- Investigate non conformances
- Monitor quality performance indicators
- Support production team in resolving day to day issues
- Conduct supplier quality assessments
- Coordinate and implement sustainability initiatives across manufacturing
- Identify opportunity to reduce waste
- Lead continuous improvement projects
Hours:
Monday 08:00am - Thursday 16:30pm
Friday 08:00am - 15:30pm
Salary:
£40,000p/a - £45,000p/a
