QUANTITY SURVEYOR – FAÇADE | DARTFORD

Quantity Surveyor in Dartford – join a specialist façade contractor delivering external envelope, remediation and refurbishment projects.

An opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to work on façade projects across the South East, with exposure to complex schemes and the chance to develop within a specialist contractor.

Job Description

• Managing the commercial delivery of façade and external envelope projects based around Dartford and across the South East.

• Preparing cost forecasts, CVRs, valuations, variations and final accounts.

• Managing subcontractor procurement, material costs, payments and commercial negotiations.

• Monitoring project expenditure, identifying risks and maintaining accurate commercial records.

• Working closely with project managers, site teams, suppliers and clients to support successful project delivery.

Skills / Qualifications

• Essential: Previous façade, cladding or external envelope experience within a main contractor or specialist subcontractor.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor managing construction projects from procurement through to final account.

• Knowledge of façade remediation, replacement, cladding, external wall systems or associated refurbishment works.

• Strong understanding of subcontractor management, valuations, variations, cost reporting and forecasting.

• Commercially aware, organised and confident communicating with project teams, suppliers and clients.
