Quantity Surveyor

Job description

About the role Our Client is a [main contractor / consultancy] delivering [residential / commercial / infrastructure] projects across the region. We need a Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and keep our projects commercially on track.

What you will do

• Prepare cost plans, estimates and bills of quantities
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages
• Value work on site, prepare interim applications and agree final accounts
• Produce monthly cost/value reconciliations (CVRs) and forecasts
• Manage variations, change control and contractual notices
• Advise project teams on commercial risks and opportunities

What you need

• Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar
• 3+ years as a Quantity Surveyor in construction
• Good working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC3/4 contracts
• Strong Excel and measurement skills
• Confident negotiating with subcontractors and clients
