Job Description:

Receptionist (part time) required to cover a 3 week assignment, start 17/82026

Days required: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – 3 full days

Hours: 8am to 5pm (1 hour lunch), 24 hours per week.

Rate: £12.71 per hour PAYE, through React Recruitment Ltd

Location: Gillingham, Kent (ME8) – ideally car driver/owner required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a receptionist or office administrator – if you are a graduate with some office experience, we’d welcome your application

Receptionist - key responsibilities

• Welcome, meet and greet visitors; customers, clients and walk ins with an eagerness to help.
• Answer the switchboard and direct calls to the appropriate person in a professional and efficient manner.  Take and pass on accurate messages.
• General reception administration will include post handling (in & out), assist with timesheet management, invoicing, filing, data capture, maintaining spreadsheets, collation of management information and preparation of letters
• Provide refreshments for meetings.
• Ensure the reception and kitchen area is kept stocked, clean, and tidy at all times.
