Recruitment Consultant

Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 DOE + Uncapped Commission
Hours: Full-time | Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 5:00pm

About Us

Oval Deene Recruitment is a specialist division of Simon Acres Group Ltd. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Tunbridge Wells office. You'll work closely with our Director and Recruitment Coordinator while also being supported by our experienced team based in Higham Ferrers. From day one, you'll receive a structured induction, ongoing mentoring and everything you need to build a successful recruitment desk.

About the Role

This is a full 360 recruitment role where you'll have the opportunity to manage your own desk while benefiting from existing client relationships and live vacancies from the outset. You'll be responsible for developing new business, managing client accounts, sourcing high-quality candidates and overseeing the recruitment process from initial conversation through to successful placement. You'll enjoy the variety that recruitment brings, building lasting relationships with both clients and candidates while becoming a trusted specialist within your market.

What Success Looks Like

During your first few months, you'll become familiar with our specialist markets, build relationships with clients and candidates, and begin managing live vacancies from our established customer base. As your confidence grows, you'll develop your own business, strengthen existing client partnerships and build a profitable desk with the support of experienced recruiters around you.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
• Manage and grow existing client accounts.
• Source and screen for a range of permanent vacancies.
• Match candidates to suitable opportunities and guide them through the recruitment process.
• Arrange interviews, manage offers and negotiate successful placements.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates and clients.
• Maintain accurate records using our CRM and recruitment systems.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, takes pride in delivering an excellent service and is looking for a long-term career within a growing specialist recruitment business.

You'll ideally have:

• A minimum of two years' experience in a 360 recruitment role.
• A proven ability to develop new business and build strong client relationships.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, organised and self-motivated approach.
• A passion for delivering exceptional service to both clients and candidates.

Previous recruitment experience within the KBB or Merchant sectors would be advantageous but isn't essential. We'll provide the industry knowledge and ongoing training needed to help you become a specialist recruiter.
