Recruitment Consultant – Education Recruitment

Class Cover Ltd | £28,000–£70,000 (uncapped commission)

Class Cover is looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Recruitment Consultant to join our friendly, established education recruitment team.

We work closely with schools, nurseries and education professionals, helping to ensure children have the teachers and support staff they need. No two days are the same, and this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career in a busy, people-focused industry.

What will you be doing?

As a Recruitment Consultant, you'll build relationships with local schools, nurseries and education professionals, matching talented people with the right opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing relationships with schools and nurseries and understanding their staffing needs.
• Recruiting, interviewing and registering teachers, teaching assistants and nursery staff.
• Matching candidates to suitable daily supply, long-term and permanent positions.
• Building your client base through telephone calls, networking and face-to-face visits.
• Managing bookings and supporting candidates and clients throughout the recruitment process.
• Negotiating rates, identifying new business opportunities and growing your desk.
• Working with colleagues to deliver an excellent service to our schools and candidates.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who is positive, organised and enjoys building relationships with people.

You'll ideally have:

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence speaking to clients and candidates over the phone and face to face.
• A proactive attitude and the motivation to achieve targets.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• A willingness to learn, develop and contribute to a team.

Previous recruitment experience is an advantage, but it's not essential. If you have experience in sales, customer service, account management or another target-driven role, we can provide the training you need to develop your recruitment career.

A full UK driving licence and access to your own transport are essential, as the role involves visiting schools and nurseries across the region.
