Recruitment Consultant – Commercial Recruitment

Thetford | Office Based | Full Time

Are you a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing business and delivering results?

We're looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join our successful and established Thetford branch, managing both temporary and permanent recruitment across the commercial sector throughout Thetford and the surrounding areas.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly driven team within an established branch, active clients and a significant opportunity for growth. You'll take ownership of developing existing relationships while building new business opportunities, helping local employers secure top talent and supporting candidates in finding their next role.

Whether you already work in recruitment or come from a strong sales background, we'd love to hear from you. We've successfully welcomed people into recruitment from a variety of industries, including estate agency, hospitality, aviation and customer-facing sales roles, who have gone on to build rewarding careers with us.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential, as travel to client sites and other locations will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and developing temporary and permanent vacancies across the commercial sector

• Building strong client relationships and growing existing accounts
• Generating new business opportunities through proactive sales activity and networking
• Sourcing, interviewing and placing candidates into suitable roles
• Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from vacancy qualification through to placement
• Advertising vacancies and utilising social media platforms to attract talent
• Providing exceptional service to clients, candidates and temporary workers
• Achieving recruitment and sales targets

About You

• Previous recruitment experience is desirable but not essential

• Proven experience in a sales, business development or customer-facing role is essential

• Confident building relationships and creating business opportunities
• Driven, resilient and target-focused
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and desire to succeed as part of a collaborative team
