About the role [Company] provides [acute / elective / nursing home] care to adults. We need a Registered Nurse to deliver safe, compassionate, high-quality care and lead a small team of healthcare assistants on shift.
What you will do
- Assess, plan, deliver and review care for a group of patients
- Give medicines safely and monitor their effects
- Carry out clinical tasks such as wound care, observations and catheter care
- Supervise and support healthcare assistants and students
- Keep accurate, up-to-date clinical records
- Communicate clearly with patients, families and the wider care team
What you need
- Active NMC registration as an Adult Nurse (RN1/RNA)
- Strong clinical skills and sound judgement
- Commitment to patient safety and dignity
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends
- Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this)
Nice to have
- Post-registration experience in acute, surgical or elderly care
- Mentoring or practice assessor experience
- Venepuncture and cannulation skills
