Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) - External Planned Works

Location: Gravesham

Rate: £19 per hour

Contract: Temporary (12 Weeks)

We are currently working with a well-established contractor who is looking to recruit an experienced Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a 12-week temporary contract supporting an external planned maintenance programme across Gravesham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RLO to play a key role in delivering external refurbishment works to occupied social housing properties. You will act as the main point of contact for residents, ensuring they are kept fully informed throughout the programme while delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for residents throughout the external works programme.
• Keep residents informed of work schedules, access requirements and project updates.
• Carry out resident consultations, property visits and pre-start meetings where required.
• Build positive relationships with residents and manage expectations throughout the project.
• Respond to resident enquiries, concerns and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Work closely with site managers, supervisors and operatives to coordinate works and resident access.
• Provide additional support to vulnerable residents and ensure individual needs are considered.
• Maintain accurate records of resident communications, appointments and project progress.
• Attend site and client meetings, providing updates on resident feedback and any ongoing issues.
• Promote excellent customer service and help achieve high resident satisfaction levels.

Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer or Customer Liaison Officer.
• Experience working within social housing, planned maintenance, external refurbishment or property services is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and internal management systems.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.
