Sales Executive / Business Development Manager

Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year + uncapped commission

Job Type: Permanent, full-time

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to generate new business, build strong client relationships and help grow the customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities and contracts.
• Generate leads through networking, outreach and tender opportunities.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers.
• Attend client meetings, site visits and industry events.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations.
• Manage the sales pipeline and achieve agreed targets.
• Work closely with operational teams to support new client onboarding.

About You

• Experience in B2B sales, business development or account management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Able to manage your own diary and workload effectively.
