School Kitchen Staff - Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17
Start: First Week of November 2026

Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting School Kitchen Staff for a specific vacancy at a school in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, NG17, starting in the first week of November.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking candidate who is confident working in a busy school kitchen and supporting with food preparation, serving and cleaning duties during the school day.

Responsibilities may include:

• Supporting with food preparation

• Serving meals to pupils and staff

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment

• Supporting the wider catering team during busy lunch periods

• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures

• Helping ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and ready for service

Essential requirement:

You MUST already hold a Child Only Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

Unfortunately, we cannot consider applicants without this already in place due to the immediate November start.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Happy working as part of a team

• Ideally experienced within catering, schools, care or a similar setting

• Available to start from the first week of November
