Are you passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential within learning and emotional development?

Tradewind are seeking a caring, proactive and enthusiastic SEN Learning Mentor to join a friendly SEN School in Towwer Hamlets.

As a Learning Mentor you will work closely with pupils, teachers and families to help children overcome barriers to learning. You will provide tailored support, build positive relationships and promote well-being across the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health throughout the school
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
• Work alongside Teachers to develop strategies that support learning and inclusion
• Promote positive behaviour
• Liaise with parents and carers whenever required

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a Secondary or SEN Setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build relationships and act as a positive role model
• Empathy and patience where required
• Experience with promoting child development
