About the role:

Four Jays are looking for a Senior Event Coordinator who will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving hire revenue. You will take lead in overseeing the entire booking process from managing enquiries, guiding customers to the right product and finalising contracts & services to collaborating with the operational & logistics teams to ensure flawless delivery for events.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for existing and potential customers and engaging with them in a positive manner.
• Build strong, lasting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Address complaints and resolve problems in a high-pressure role that involves managing challenges and last-minute changes.
• Respond to incoming enquiries and provide tailored quotations based on stock availability.
• Negotiate hire rates, manage stock calendars to avoid double bookings, and secure contracts for future events.
• Convert enquiries into bookings and upsell additional group services.
• Offer the best hire solutions to meet the customers event requirements.
• Work closely with the marketing department to capitalise on insights into customer needs.
• Use the hire software to manage deposits taken on booking confirmations and ensure final payments are made before delivery.
• Report conversion rates / utilisation targets / feedback
• Work with transport & logistics managers to coordinate workable delivery, collection & servicing timelines.
• Manage customer expectations around deliveries, collections, and services.

About you:

Essentials:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to be adaptable with a proactive approach when working under pressure
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Proficiency in using booking software and MS Office

Desirable:

• Previous event welfare/sanitation hire experience
