Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor
Location: Pontyclun
Type: Permanent
Start: Immediate
We're working with a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor who is looking to recruit a Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor to join their team based at their Pontyclun Head Office.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Strong background in groundworks, civil engineering, infrastructure, or enabling works projects
- Experience managing subcontractor procurement and accounts
- Ability to prepare and manage valuations, variations, cost reports, and final accounts
- Good understanding of NEC and JCT forms of contract
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Experience monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks and opportunities
- Ability to work closely with operational teams, clients, and supply chain partners
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
