SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR – PLANNED MAINTENANCE | MIDLANDS

Senior Quantity Surveyor job in the Midlands – take ownership of planned maintenance and refurbishment contracts with an established Property Services contractor.

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take a leading commercial role within a busy team delivering social housing and property maintenance programmes across the Midlands.

Job Description

• Leading the commercial management of planned maintenance and refurbishment contracts across the Midlands.

• Managing cost reporting, CVRs, forecasts, valuations, variations and final accounts.

• Overseeing subcontractor procurement, commercial negotiations and payment applications.

• Supporting and developing junior commercial team members while maintaining strong commercial controls.

• Building relationships with clients and operational teams to deliver programmes safely, efficiently and profitably.

Skills / Qualifications

• Essential: Strong Property Services experience within a main contractor, specifically planned maintenance, social housing or housing refurbishment.

• Previous experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level, managing multiple workstreams or sizeable contracts.

• Detailed understanding of planned maintenance programmes, including kitchens and bathrooms, roofing, external works and wider housing refurbishment.

• Strong commercial management skills covering CVRs, forecasting, procurement, valuations, variations and final accounts.

• Confident managing client relationships, challenging costs and supporting the wider commercial team across the Midlands.
