The Role

As a Senior Sales Consultant, you'll take ownership of a substantial portfolio of live projects and opportunities, working closely with customers to develop relationships, convert enquiries and maximise revenue.

This is a consultative sales role focused primarily on managing warm leads, active projects and existing customer opportunities. The majority of your day will be spent engaging with customers over the telephone, progressing projects and identifying commercial opportunities.

There is no door knocking or field-based prospecting required. Approximately 30 minutes per day is dedicated to proactive new business development activity and generating new opportunities.

You'll manage a larger and more valuable project portfolio than entry-level sales colleagues and play a key role in supporting the overall success of the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of approximately 250-350 live projects
• Following up warm leads and active project enquiries
• Building strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Managing quotations and progressing opportunities through the sales pipeline
• Identifying opportunities to increase order values and maximise revenue
• Converting enquiries into orders and achieving sales targets
• Conducting proactive business development activity
• Managing inbound and outbound customer communications
• Maintaining accurate CRM records and project updates
• Collaborating with estimating, design, customer service and other internal teams
• Supporting the achievement of team and company sales objectives
