Job Description:

Our Client based in Rainham Essex is looking for a:-

Shift Team Leader

Proactive and hands-on Team Leader to support the night shift and day shift operation, ensuring service targets are achieved while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service. The successful candidate will lead by example, support team performance, and drive operational efficiency.

• Lead and support the night team to achieve operational and turnaround targets.
• Allocate resources effectively and respond to changing business needs.
• Monitor quality standards and minimise errors and customer complaints.
• Promote a positive safety culture and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across the service centre.
• Support training, coaching, and development of team members.
• Ensure company vehicles and equipment are maintained and reported when defects arise.

Essential

• Experience in a fast-paced operational, warehouse, manufacturing, or service environment.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and data systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload effectively.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

Desirable

• Previous team leadership or people management experience.
• SAP knowledge.
