Service Director - Aircon, AOV, Fire Dampers & HVAC

Location: Surrey/Kent (3 days per week) with travel across the South East and Midlands if necessary

Package: c £100,000 Basic + 20% Bonus + Company Car/Allowance + Profit Share + Excellent Benefits

Our client is a rapidly growing provider of Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC, Air Conditioning, Fire Damper and AOV Services, with ambitious plans to expand through both organic growth and acquisition.

They are seeking an experienced Service Director to lead service delivery, customer excellence and operational performance across a multi-site business.

Managing a direct team of six, including Helpdesk, Service Managers and Operational Leads, you will ensure outstanding service standards while supporting the company's growth journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the service management team.
• Drive service delivery, customer satisfaction and operational performance.
• Implement and maintain service excellence standards across multiple offices.
• Support the integration of acquired businesses, embedding culture, processes and best practice.
• Work closely with Division Directors responsible for Mechanical Maintenance, PPM, HVAC, AOV and Fire Damper Services.
• Develop scalable systems and processes to support growth.
• Play a key role in the company's plan to double its engineering workforce.

About You

• Proven experience as a Service Director, Head of Service or Operations Director within a service-led engineering business.
• Background in Mechanical Maintenance, HVAC, Building Services, Facilities Maintenance, Compliance Services or similar.
• Strong leadership, commercial and operational management skills.
• Experience leading multi-site service operations.
• Track record of improving service performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Experience supporting business growth, acquisitions or organisational change would be advantageous.
