Job description
Site Agent | ExeterThe Opportunity We’re recruiting a Site Agent for a respected civil engineering contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across Devon and Somerset.
With a strong secured workload, projects typically range from £5m to £40m across:
- Highways and infrastructure
- Bridges and structures
- Section 278 works
- Public realm
- Road widening and junction improvements
You’ll take responsibility for the safe and successful delivery of projects, managing:
- Day-to-day site operations
- Site teams and subcontractors
- Client and progress meetings
- Short-term programmes and look-aheads
- RAMS and H&S compliance
- Engineering drawings and specifications
- Quality assurance and project delivery
You’ll be an experienced Site Agent with:
- Civil Engineering degree or relevant qualification
- Main contractor experience
- Highways, infrastructure or structures experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good commercial awareness
- A practical, proactive approach to delivery
