Part-Time School Site Assistant - Sittingbourne
Location: Sittingbourne
Hours: Monday to Friday, Part-Time (20 Hours Per Week)
Pay: £15+ per hour

Academics are currently recruiting for a Part-Time School Site Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Sittingbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School Site Assistant seeking a long-term position within a school environment.

• Opening, locking, and securing the school site
• Carrying out general site assistant duties, including basic maintenance and minor repairs
• Completing routine health & safety checks and site inspections
• Preparing rooms and facilities for school events and activities
• Ensuring the school grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained at all times
• Supporting staff with day-to-day site and facilities tasks
• Liaising with contractors and visitors where required

• Previous experience as a School Site Assistant, Caretaker, Facilities Operative, or within a similar role
• A practical, proactive, and reliable approach to work
• Good knowledge of health & safety procedures
• The ability to work independently and use initiative
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
