Location: Basildon

Salary: £36,750 - £42,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

We are proud to be recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of our client to join a major infrastructure project in the Basildon area. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer looking to develop their career on large-scale civil engineering project while working within a supportive and experienced team.

The Role

As a Site Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of earthworks and civil engineering activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out site surveys and setting out works.
• Reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
• Supporting quality assurance processes and site documentation.
• Assisting with project planning and progress monitoring.
• Conducting site checks and reporting technical issues when required.

What we are looking for in a Site Engineer:

• Experience within civil engineering, infrastructure, or earthworks projects.
• Knowledge of site surveying and setting out techniques.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to health, safety, and quality.
• Desire to progress professionally within an engineering environment.
