Site Engineer

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a civil engineering project on a drainage and structures package, with 12 months of contract work available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out drainage works, including pipe runs, manholes and chambers.
• Setting out reinforced concrete (RC) works, including bases, foundations and structures.
• Interpreting engineering drawings and ensuring works are delivered to specification.
• Carrying out as-built surveys, quality checks and maintaining accurate site records.
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely and accurately.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
• Strong setting-out experience in drainage and RC works.
• Competent with total stations, GPS and levelling equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Relevant CSCS card.

Contract Details:

• 12-month contract
• Competitive day rate, dependent on experience
