Civils Site Manager – Substation Project

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Long-term contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Site Manager to join a substation project in Stoke-on-Trent, with an immediate start available and long-term work on offer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with a strong civils background and experience delivering works within the energy, power or substation sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing day-to-day site operations across the civils package.

• Managing site teams, supervisors and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.

• Supervising groundworks, foundations, reinforced concrete, ducting, drainage and associated infrastructure.

• Ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications, drawings and programme deadlines.

• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality control and site documentation.

• Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to maintain progress.

• Liaising with the Project Manager and wider site team to resolve technical and programme issues.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Civils Site Manager on substation, power, energy or major infrastructure projects.

• Strong knowledge of groundworks, reinforced concrete and civil engineering packages.

• Valid CSCS card and relevant site safety qualifications.

• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.

• Available to start at short notice.
