Job description
Site Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on a highways scheme, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise site teams, subcontractors and daily construction activities.
- Oversee highway works, road construction, drainage, kerbing and associated civils.
- Monitor progress and ensure programme deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate labour, plant and materials.
- Report progress and site issues to the Site Manager.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor on highways or general civil engineering projects.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Valid Gold CSCS card.
- Valid First Aid certificate.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of health and safety procedures.
