Job Description:

Mechanical Fitter

Location: Maidstone
Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Company Van and Fuel card provided

A fantastic opportunity has opened for a Level 3 qualified Mechanical Fitter with a background in heavy engineering to work alongside experienced technicians installing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, valves, and actuators.

• Carry out mechanical maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks.
• Diagnose, investigate,and repair faults across  mechanical systems.
• Travel to different sites across the south of the UK but be home every day.

The Ideal Candidate

You will bring experience, precision, and a strong maintenance mindset. We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a heavy engineering environment.
• You will have previous knowledge of maintaining and repairing pumps and other associated mechanical equipment.

Essential Criteria

• Proven maintenance and fault-finding experience
• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a medical, drug & alcohol screening.
