Specification Sales Manager – Healthcare

£55,000–£60,000 + Bonus + Car | South East Based | UK-Wide Territory

We’re looking for an experienced Specification Sales Manager to drive growth across the UK healthcare sector for a specialist building services business.

This is a consultative, specification-led sales role where you’ll engage with NHS Trusts, consultants, public health engineers, architects and contractors — getting involved early and influencing design decisions before projects reach site.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Developing relationships with NHS Trusts, consultants, engineers and contractors
• Identifying projects at an early design stage
• Influencing specifications and securing project opportunities
• Delivering CPDs and technical presentations
• Managing long, complex sales cycles through to completion
• Building a strong and sustainable UK healthcare pipeline

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone with:

• Proven specification sales experience within M&E, building services, construction or a related technical sector
• A strong track record of influencing consultants and contractors
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to manage complex sales cycles
• The confidence to engage with senior technical decision-makers
• A genuine consultative approach to selling
• Based in the South East of England, with the flexibility to travel UK-wide

Healthcare/NHS experience, public health engineering knowledge or familiarity with HTMs would be highly advantageous.
