Steel Fixers Required – Cambridge

Location: Cambridge
Rate: £220 Per day
Job Type: Ongoing
Start Date: Immediate

Frontline Construction Recruitment is currently looking for experienced Steel Fixers to work on a busy construction project in Cambridge.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking operatives with previous site experience who can work efficiently as part of a team and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fixing and tying steel reinforcement bars and mesh

• Reading and working from reinforcement drawings

• Cutting, bending and positioning reinforcement steel

• Installing reinforcement for concrete structures, foundations, beams and slabs

• Ensuring steel is fixed accurately to project specifications

• Working alongside other trades to meet project deadlines

• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Steel Fixer is essential

• Valid CSCS card

• Ability to read reinforcement drawings preferred

• Full PPE and relevant tools

• Good understanding of site health and safety

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
